Work Package 6: Implementation of the selected pilot/ demonstrative applications




This work package focuses on the actual implementation of the selected applications in the participating regions. Each local partner undertakes the selected application in his corresponding region assisted by the Project Technical Team. Four (4) cross?border consortiums of engineering & installation companies are created, that may undertake the setting?up and installation works of the specific application?systems in the respective Region/s. In order to enhance and promote the knowledge and know how sharing & transfer, open workshops for assessment of the 4 countries’ experiences are held. Finally, a Project workshop for drawing an overall balance of the actions carried out, experiences and learning derived from the demonstration, pilot application?projects directly undertaken by the project in the different regions/countries will be held.


Expected Results

  • Creation of Local Consortiums of SMEs to be specialised in innovative solar?energy systems

  • Implementation of a given number of solar?energy facilities in the selected buildings/premises

  • Cross?border’s transfer of technologies, know?how and best practices on the above solar applications.

  • Increasing of the share of renewable energies’ production in the consumption of energy in the Partners regions.

  • Promotion of the solar?energy systems’ industry –specially manufacturing , in EU an MP countries

  • Contribution to the reduction of global CO2 emissions.
